Transformation Tuesday – Award Winning Preservation
Blair Kamin, a Pulitzer Prize winning architecture critic for the Chicago Tribune, recently spoke at the Wilmette Historic Preservation Commission’s annual historic awards ceremony. We are honored to have our project at 814 Park Avenue selected as a winning recipient in the rehabilitation category. “A town that celebrates historic preservation is well on its way to becoming a better and more beautiful town. It’s encouraging its residents to voluntarily preserve and enhance beautiful homes. That raises the town’s architectural standards, which, in turn, encourages future construction to meet the high bar of good design. Quality begets quality.†Congrats to all of this year’s winners!
