Deschutes River Lodge

Located on the Deschutes River outside Bend, Oregon, this house was gutted, reconfigured and expanded to become a spectacular retreat.  Expansive windows and sliding glass doors replaced solid walls showcasing views to the vibrant rapids beyond.  The great room stone floor extends to the terrace which includes a fire pit with built-in seating and a spa perched into a stone jetty above the bubbling river.

Two primary suites plus four guest bedrooms make this the perfect family getaway.  Exposed steel I-beams frame two stories of glass, while stone and Ipe wood siding balance the natural palette of exterior materials.
