Transformation Tuesday Series – Georgian Grandeur Goes Around Back

Georgian Before
Georgian After
There was nothing grand about the rear façade of this Georgian restoration project so we added some. The previous addition on our Grove Residence was removed and replaced with a two-story structure that provided a new family room, kitchen, breakfast room, formal terrace, sunroom, mudroom, large master suite, laundry room, craft room, and a guest bedroom and bath. The interior renovation of the existing house included a new centrally-located grand staircase, library/home office, formal living and dining rooms, and two second floor bedrooms with a shared bath. A series of arched top French doors flanked by engaged columns provides the Grandeur this façade desperately needed.
