This expansion to an existing meetinghouse was designed to accommodate the needs of the growing parish. Formally, the addition and renovation helped unify the previous construction phases of this continually growing meetinghouse. The redesigned chapel, relief society, and bathrooms not only improves the efficiency of the existing facilities, but also makes the meetinghouse more accessible for its parishioners.

This expansion to an existing meetinghouse included the addition of necessary classroom and office space for the church. In keeping with the aesthetics of the existing church, the addition blends seamlessly with the original facility. The existing bathrooms and font were also updated.
| ST. FRANCIS SCHOOL, WILMETTE, ILLINOIS
Improvements to the school included the design of the new entry way. The brick, ashlar stone, monumental stairs, and new courtyard provide an outdoor pulpit to facilitate gatherings ranging from impromptu presentations to graduation ceremonies. Additional work has included design studies for the expansion of the gymnasium to better accommodate spectators' bleachers.

This new construction project was designed in order to accommodate future expansions while still meeting the programmatic requirements of new parish. Folding partitions and flexible spaces were employed to allow for a wide variety of uses.

The project included an analysis of the existing facilities and operations followed by the development of a master plan for the renovation of the entire facility to meet the needs of the evolving parish. Key elements included the expansion of the pre-school educational facilities, parish administration and community rooms.
