Boarding is not Boring

The foundation walls for the staircase to the lower level were formed using rustic 1×6 boards. After the concrete is poured and the forms are stripped this technique leaves the walls with texture and a wood grain appearance, no need to drywall over this work of art. The wall is a feature that is sure to be a conversation piece for years to come.
